The Rainbow Flower

Green, as bountiful as a hidden, untouched, unexplored forest
A secret of the ages, a wonderful landscape to see, so please, let me experience the loveliest
You are untainted, and still so innocent, you are a passion that has always been sought, and promised
The Earth below, the grass in between, the trees up above, the wind,  I've waited for you the longest

You are my bountiful forest, everlasting, eternal, undying, immortal, you make me so selfish
Because I want you all to myself, always, and I will never, ever share you with anyone else

Yellow, as bright as a million Suns
A bringer of life, and in the center of it all, there is only one
You are the center of my heart, you are the meaning of my true love
Yet, you stray from my sight sometimes, leaving me cold and blind, I'm abandoned from above

You are my bright Sun, meant to be so far away, and if I get too close, you will get too hot
But I still yearn to hold you in my arms, for as long as I can, until my lifeforce melts off

Orange, as comforting as an ever-burning fire
The birth of hope, a maker of light, a sight which we can see our dreams, to pursue, and inspire
You brought me everything I have ever wanted, dreamed of, needed, you brought me this desire
And it's all for you, so let us create our own happiness, and dreams, and it will truly be ours

You are my ever-burning fire, giving me your light, giving us a reason to always be together
Fate, chance, and destiny have intertwined, the stars have aligned, so I will love you forever

Red, as beautiful as a sentimental bouquet of roses
I will take care of you, and cherish you, for as long as the blood in my veins flow
I will fight for you, I will provide for you, so trust me, these promises is what I won't let go
Believe in these words, please, because my voice will continue to promise you in an endless echo

You are my bouquet of roses, holding onto you tightly, but also gently, and forever close
And I can't bring myself to be apart from you very long, it is a feeling that I so loath

Pink, as soothing as the silent-fallen dusk
An end of an era, a beginning of another memory, so all is never lost
You are an ephemeral love, yet, also a reoccurring cycle, so our journey will never be done

You are my dusk, now you lay me down to sleep, and help me pray for a beautiful dawn

Purple, as caressing as a violet dawn that's rising
A wish granter, making life itself, seem more possible and promising
As the clouds swirl around, the light seeps through them, and the sun rays start glistening
It will always get brighter after the darkest night, and all over again, so we won't stop wishing

You are my dawn, now you must wake me up slowly, to bring me out of my dreams, so relieving
You lift me up, and you never let me go, you'll never let me fall, you are so strong, and so caring

Blue, as purifying as the lonesome rain
A storm maker, I always love it, and can't get enough of it, when you steal away my pain
I always look forward to those dark clouds, and wait for the drops of serenity to fall again
Because you take it all away, everything, you are so selfless, to even take away the hurtful blame

You are my rain, cleansing me from the broken past, assuring me that nothing will ever stay the same
Because you will always be there for me, showering me, promising me that this storm will never end

The rainbow flower that miraculously grew from my concrete heart, will never lose its unique petals
They will continue on, like an endless storm of raindrops, creating never ending water ripples
The feelings, the emotions, the love that I have for you, and you only will never settle
