I remember it
As if it was just last night
Our surroundings were lit
Illuminated by the surfaces covered in white

The way you smiled
It gave me comfort inside
And my heart seemed to be veiled
Knowing you have become a part of my life
-
Step by step
I stopped blinking
As we tread
I ceased breathing
Chills were sent
Our hands touching
Our lips met

Gazing at you is a must
You curiously peered up
As snowflakes danced down towards us
And it dawned on me that I was madly in love

Mesmerizing my soul
Spreading a calming warmth
Into my core
I held you in my arms
I felt whole
Connected our hearts
Alone

It's one of those days
When everything goes wrong
And it hurts you in ways
When it feels like you don't belong

Thinking of the choices you made
What you've done
Questioning if redemption is too late
Can this guilt be overcome?

I deserve to remain
Locked within the pain
As my tears are wrapped in chains

And it's all true
What we all go through
Take all of my problems and give 'em to you

Because I cannot
Win back the battles I lost
For I am unable to pay the courage it costs

For those who say
That the past can't be changed
They're right, but the memories won't go away

So lead me astray
Carry all of my burdens

I fought as long as I could have
But I sank into the weakness below
And I felt my sorrow's wrath
The helplessness took over

It was all a dream
A wish...

A simple false belief

Hands dangled frantically / Tears dripped endlessly
I needed a hero to save me / I yearned to be set free

Day after day
I tried continuing on to live this way

With damaged veins made of concrete
I am the undone suicide that was kept a secret

But I can no longer exist
Inside of this pretentious skin

There is a past that I wish I didn't remember
There is a future that just looks too painful

There is nothing you can say or do that'll help
Because there is no turning back now
-
I drag everything down with my endless lies
I smother the remnants of hope until it dies
I win the battles, I win the wars, and I win every fight

I am a maelstrom of deceit
I am a darkness that you cannot defeat
I am the awaiting fate of this pathet

I've realized that nothing never really ends
Because it's just the beginning of the emptiness

I want to take back my actions / I want to give you reasons

I said all of the words I've needed
To you
And to the mirror

I wish those were silent confessions / I wish none of this had happened

I finally let out all of those feelings I hid

Beneath my surface

They're just emotions from a fallen / Because without you I'm nothing

I meant every single tear I cried

My one true purpose

I'm feeling so forsaken and faithless / To my world you're everything

I couldn't hold on as I slowly let go of my grip

Because lower than this is death

It's like living and sleeping within tortuous realities
Even though I'm unconscious- there is no such thing as rest for me

No one knows how powerful my dreams can be
No one knows all of the graphic images I've seen

And pretend I still have a sense of humanity

Treading along a path of healing
Within an aura of rejuvenation

Restore the strongest force of life
Renew these weakening limits of mine

Devotion has no means to an end
There is only hope and strength to be lent

Just like the void called the sky
Even the clouds don't hinder sight

A storm could be brewing
And lightning could be striking

But there is no fear dwelling
Only a calm, tranquil feeling

A rarity itself
An enigma that stands out

A peace that transcends
An energy that ascends

A strong person who is still only human
An outcome of living within the moment

I, a child birthed in chains

And on this day

They will break

Self-taught to be a mute
I learned to be afraid of you
For my choices and actions would get rebuked

I combined my fear and envy
As I was raised in the middle of society
My power and my pride were deprived of me

I'm only an empty vessel
All promises are now fabled
But soon all shall witness my revival

No voice / No roll
No shadow / No soul
No face / No absolution
No grace / No vengeance

Defeat hate / Defeat pain
Defeat fate / Defeat blame
Defeat fear / Defeat corruption
Defeat despair / Defeat discrimination

Cascading glares swim around my whole body
Searching for some kind of flaw that I might have
But they don't realize that my life is the problem entirely
I can hardly keep on hiding all of the imperfections I secretly grasp

Denial is simple / If you say so
Pretending is impossible / I can't let you know

So I no longer speak for myself
No, not anymore
I feel that I deserve this hell
My pure torture

I'm just too snared by the knives in my back
No one wanted to accept me for who I really was
That's why I had no choice but to put up this wounded act
But I guess that's what the feeling of losing everybody do

DrugLove is a drug
It's intoxicating
Mixed between extacy & ruin
between pleasure & pain
Like the smell of blood
that pours out of my veins

It's a addictive
But it's destroying you
from the inside out
Hitting hard with every breath,
Even all the way to your death

Love is so destructive
It really hurts

You just can't get enough

I let go of all possessions / I threw away my humiliation

I thought a day like today would never come
When a sincere smile finally broke through
And I've grasped onto this sense of freedom
When I forged this connection with you

I was so deep into it
Thinking I never would get out

The long nights remain dark, but the short days seem darker
The sun attempts to rise, but even the moon's faint glow is brighter

Let The Wounds Be Undone

_{I heal to just be healed again...

So many wounds to mend...

My body feels no end...}
-
Without pain there can be no relief
Last resort hope gives birth to belief

I knew there was always something better
I prayed for the days ahead to get brighter

As I lay in ruin
I feel my heart still beating

Pieces of destruction
Can be transformed into pieces of creation

Forgot about yesterday / I only know of today
The light sparks my way / Pushed the darkness away

Life is what I'm fighting for / You can't hurt me anymore
I'm stronger than before / The broken pieces are now whole

I wave my tarnished hands
Over my torn skin

My heart's no longer glass
This is my despair vanishing

I lift up my remains
And let go of the past

It's just another memory
But now here I stand

This was very beautiful and I could relate to it so well that I felt really moved. It's both sad and inspirational, and something I felt when I was going through my OCD. It felt like living in a hellhole, but all the time I was trying to find that light. Anyway, this is really beautiful, I love it!

This is one of my really underrated works, and it saddens me, but I guess I can't do anything about it. Doing this one meant a lot to me at the time. Just the image of it, it's like scars being erased from existence. Just that vision....it helps me.
