Emerald:
Treading along a path of healing
Within an aura of rejuvenation

Restore the strongest force of life
Renew these weakening limits of mine

Devotion has no means to an end
There is only hope and strength to be lent

Azure:
Just like the void called the sky
Even the clouds don't hinder sight

A storm could be brewing
And lightning could be striking

But there is no fear dwelling
Only a calm, tranquil feeling
-
Violet:
A rarity itself
An enigma that stands out

A peace that transcends
An energy that ascends

A strong person who is still only human
An outcome of  living within the moment
-
Gold:
Ashes Of Tomorrow

I can destroy what I create
If I really, and truly wanted to
I can light these feelings ablaze
If I didn't want anymore support from you

I barely stop myself time and time again
I realize there's a sense of cruelty in all of us
It's just that feeling, everything might be in vain
When tempted at breaking down those barriers of trust

To jeopardize all of the triumphs
I want to be the one who is blamed
The fire will reach the sky, and become my guidance
I want to be swallowed by my own inner, selfish flames
-
I sit behind the scenes of my friendships
Alone, with a fake smile on my face
That old feeling of lonel

Heroes are hard to come by

Especially in this day and age

Because of you- I am still alive

Hail, the vanquisher of pain

I fought as long as I could have
But I sank into the weakness below
And I felt my sorrow's wrath
The helplessness took over

My fists let go
Of the resistance

I fell from hope
The light faded in the distance

It was all a dream
A wish...

A simple false belief
I hid...

Hands dangled frantically / Tears dripped endlessly
I needed a hero to save me / I yearned to be set free

I couldn't let the road ahead get any worse

I'm no longer a victim of your taint

Though I regret the pain I allowed myself to sustain

Society told me the world is black and white
I didn't want to believe it
Because I want something more than a narrow minded life
I need something different

Feeling as if I was truly alone in this world
It's hard to keep believing
Feeling as if I no longer could move forward
It's difficult to keep breathing

I'm stuck between the realms of discrimination and belief
I had to lock away my tears in a prison
For I am the only one who can keep my resolve safe
But I'm such a fragile person

I knew I couldn't take any of it / I knew everyone is so swift with judgment
I knew I would fall to the hatred / I knew

But sober
Drunk with rage

Broken down
The oppressor
Altered by pain

They say...

They say the prison is here to save us!

To cage up the thoughts that are dangerous!

Weeping for the hollowed

My pride I swallowed
And I put on cold smile

My choice is my own
An addiction to being hurt

I want help, but I don't
I wanna change, but I won't

I have too many dark secrets
Flowing in my veins of concrete

This is what they've done to me
The product I like to call "a perfect tragedy."

A mirror

Cascading glares swim around my whole body
Searching for some kind of flaw that I might have
But they don't realize that my life is the problem entirely
I can hardly keep on hiding all of the imperfections I secretly grasp

Denial is simple / If you say so
Pretending is impossible / I can't let you know

So I no longer speak for myself
No,   not   anymore
I feel that I deserve this hell
My   pure   torture
-
I'm just too snared by the knives in my back
No one wanted to accept me for who I really was
That's why I had no choice but to put up this wounded act
But I guess that's what the feeling of losing everybody do

With the soft touch of his fingers
The piano begins to play, a heart untouched for so long
Bares its secret melody...

When I first started out I couldn't avoid just bein' cold
My life revolved the things that I was always told—
I never knew the warmth of standing up to take a bow
It was not a joy that I would ever-ever be allowed
Through all the days I feared that everything would disappear
You held me up and held me close like I was something dear
I never knew I had a part of me that you would like
I guess that's what you feel when you can't even see the light…

So this is the only way, that

Your name is despair
And you demand that I live in fear

I gave you everything that you have ever asked
But I never got anything in return for any of that
Although you still managed to continually stab me in the back

Your name is remorse
And you wish for me abide by a damaging oath

Nothing but puppet, as I was used as your scapegoat
Sinister strings guided me to cast aside all forms of hope
We considered each other friends, because you were all I used to know

Your name is sorrow
And you want me to never again see tomorrow

I am your undying sacrifice, the one and only reoccurring offering

All of the struggles I had to endure
I always desperately held on
It was a day after day ritual
Learning to stay strong

Different advice from the wise
I had to fuse it all together
And make sense of every voice
I couldn't allow my hope to wither

It's what makes you whole
It defines who you really are

Envision the dreams
As if they're real
Remember where you've been
Know that every wound will heal

Every scar tells a story / Every step is towards glory
There's always a chance to triumph / There's always a time for resonance

We always pick ourselves back up / There's no su

I'm always told that I'm such a wonderful person
And that I'm thoughtful, caring, kindhearted, and so important
But they don't see what's behind closed doors, the constant clashes with torment
Damage goes unseen as I blanket everything with cold smiles that seem slightly burdened

My tears quake while they hide behind my blackened shades
My hands tremble because I'm holding onto so much of this hate
My body is painted nonchalant so I have to appear in an emotionless state
My blood system is clogged with suicidal thoughts that make me want to break

I've been like this far too long
I wish I died before this had begun

It begins in the same way, every single night
Fire spreading from an altar in the darkness—
As all living beings are slowly consumed,
The coruscating flames appear wet with blood…

The scene then changes to a flooded hallway
Live wires dangling just above the water,
Like venomous serpents slithering in the darkness—
A single pounce would end my life…

Eventually the hallway ends with a door,
One that reminds me of forgotten yore—
And my thoughts shall be in rhyme at this point
As though lips and tongue are eternally joint…

What maddened schemes have they in mind?

I can only think of how much I miss you

The pieces of me fall
The time without you stalls

On the inside I know it's wrong
But you're still with me as I carry on
As I try and search for where my heart belongs

I can only remember of how much I loved you

I don't know what I did wrong
I'm so sorry for whatever I've done

Not knowing if I remain unforgiven
I still whisper apologies to try and make a difference
Because I can't take anymore of this lovesick conscience

I will always be lost in this storm
As it forever rages on inside of me
Because all I can do now is mourn
While this story becomes a tragedy

There is a whirlpool...that is...frozen

I no longer had anything keeping me bound to this world
You were my love, you were my chain, and my heart was a link
And I couldn't bear the thought of never seeing your face anymore
So my knees gave, as I let my thoughts break, and I forced myself to sink

Somewhere...in the darkness
There is a soul...which became faithless

All those memories down the drain
I feel the bitterness of hope
While my tears rain
I cannot cope

There is a spark...cradled by emptiness

But to mold them is impossible
And being let down is typical

I, for one, know what it's like
Having that unrelenting doubt dwell inside
And withstanding all of those tears that aren't dried

With that said
I want to help you, my dear friend
For the hope of happiness is within the reach of your hands

I need to apologize for not always being there
It's because I have my own slate
But now I'm finally here
I'm sorry I'm late

I've been where you are
I've seen what you've seen
And I was able to break through the dark
But I'll go back for you, just to help you believe

As heat seeps through my skin

Reflections of my childhood are torn

Retelling me the stories of yesterday
I remember when my courage was withdrawn

The liquidsparks flicker

A Wish For Freedom

I, a child birthed in chains

And on this day

They will break
-
Self-taught to be a mute
I learned to be afraid of you
For my choices and actions would get rebuked

I combined my fear and envy
As I was raised in the middle of society
My power and my pride were deprived of me

I'm only an empty vessel
All promises are now fabled
But soon all shall witness my revival

No voice / No roll
No shadow / No soul
No face / No absolution
No grace / No vengeance

Defeat hate / Defeat pain
Defeat fate / Defeat blame
Defeat fear / Defeat corruption
Defeat despair / Defeat discrimination

The urge to stop the cycle
It's either my downfall or survival
I need to cease this downward spiral

Care not, for those who maim
Fear not, for those who damn my name
Weep not, for those who choose to go the other way

I told myself that I will survive
I will no longer enable others to control my life
This path that I'm now walking on is one that I can call mine
-
I, a child who wants to make a difference

To gain an identity and independence

Today, I will have my freedom

So...another powerful poem and the words are something which should be told all over the world..It is okay to be who you ARE and not who they WANT you to be...Life is hard enough without all the added hate and unspoken words,just their glances tell you how they feel...You have grown alot over these last few months and I am so proud of you!
Keep it up and don't ever give in to their madness!! Hugs!!!
